Kali Jerman

At a very young age, Kali knew she wanted to work with and for horses. As a junior rider, she trained under Hugo Huesca and Anamaria Espinosa of Olympia Farms and also Anne Kursinski at Market Street. This education provided her with a strong emphasis on horsemanship, classic dressage principles and fine attention to detail. This solid foundation brought her to the winner’s circle at every major show on the east coast with a horse she brought up from the young horse divisions. Major wins include Washington International Horse Show, Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Beacon Hill Grand Prix, HITS Saugerties, Devon Horse Show and World Equestrian Center. After aging out of her junior career, Kali worked for Stacia Madden at Beacon Hill, riding and exercising the horses.

Following her junior career success, Kali branched out on her own. Kali Jerman Sport Horses has allowed her to share her passion, knowledge and dedication to the world of horses. As a rider and trainer, Kali is talented in developing young horses, from starting their education under saddle to competing them in the show ring at all levels. Another area of her expertise lies in the training of ‘difficult’ horses. Kali’s focus on training horses is to promote their physical and mental well-being: happy, well trained horses are successful horses. She has never taken shortcuts, and each horse is consistently handled with good horsemanship. All young horses are started with a solid dressage foundation. Although predominately a show jumper, Kali’s background and expertise allows her to successfully compete and train horses in the disciplines of hunters and equitation. Kali has consistently been importing and training exceptional quality horses for resale in the US markets for the past ten years.
